Useful Information
Avg. Rating:

The Chapel of Man is a tribute to man, from the Ecuadorian artist Oswaldo Guayasamín's perspective, through his works that portray the pain, sorrow, rage, tenderness, protest and dreams of human beings. This building was inaugurated in 2002 and is a part of the cultural complex House-Workshop Guayasamín, where the artist lived and worked during his final years. In La Capilla del Hombre, you'll be able to see the "Eternal Flame" which burns for peace and human rights, and the Tree of Life, under which the artist was buried.
