The Middle of the World, the church of La Compañía, the City Museum, the Capilla del Hombre (Chapel of Man), and the Quito Tour Bus, are the five touristic attractions which you will be able to see with just one ticket, a ticket which can be purchased online and offers a 20% discount.
This product is known as the Bucket Pass, and it was nominated as one of the winners of the “Innovative and Productive Projects in the Quito Metropolitan District 2014” contest, which was organised by Quito Turismo. This service is the first of its kind in Latin America, similar to those sold in the US (citypass.com, New York Card) and in European destinations such as London, Rome and Paris.
Additionally, the Bucket Pass offers three important benefits: complete and exclusive access within a given attraction, and a user friendly mobile app available for IOS and Android systems, (which lasts six months from the date of purchase). The app costs $32.50 for adults, $13.50 for children, and $20 for senior citizens.
The aim of this initiative is to become a driving force for the promotion of the city’s main attractions, through the use of technology and institutional alliances. Over the past eight months, Quito Turismo, through the Agency for the Attraction of Investments (AAI), has worked together with Bucket to consolidate this product and support these new undertakings.
Bucket was established in 2014 in the United States, and is dedicated to promoting the popular tourist attractions and activities of the cities where it operates. This company, which has a view to expanding regionally and internationally, has chosen Quito as the ideal destination to launch its operation.
