Representantes de la Policía Nacional, la Policía Metropolitana y varios informadores turísticos participaron en un recorrido que visitó los establecimientos que tienen Distintivo Q con el propósito de conocer la oferta, ubicación, tarifas e información relevante de cada uno, para que de esta manera puedan referir a los turistas que visitan la capital.
El fam trip recorrió los establecimientos ubicados en el sector de La Mariscal y el Centro Histórico el 20, 21 y 22 de junio. Los participantes del recorrido constataron la aplicación de sistemas de gestión de turismo sostenible y el servicio de alta calidad que ofrecen los locales con Distintivo Q. Las áreas que integraron la inspección fueron: habitaciones, baños, salones de eventos, spa, restaurantes, cafeterías, cocina y áreas de recreación.
Los establecimientos que formaron parte de este circuito fueron: Hostal Rábida Hotel Río Amazonas, NuHouse, Hostal Jhomana, Hotel Reina Isabel, Anahí Boutique Hotel, Hotel Fuente de Piedra, La Casa Sol, Achiote Restaurante, Galería Ecuador Gourmet, Q Lounge, Latitud Tapas & Vinos, Azuca Latin Bistro, Casa Bigas, Cinquecento, República del Cacao, Cafetería Taita Pendejadas, Café Sibarí, Hotel Real Audiencia, Pizza SA Centro Histórico, Octava de Corpus, Restaurante El Criollo y Hotel Patio Andaluz.
Los propietarios de los locales participaron activamente en el recorrido y agradecieron esta iniciativa de Quito Turismo.
